Built in 1880 by C.F. Stillwell, who signed and dated the attic window,

this Sag Harbor house was locally known as one of the Bulova Watch Case Factory residences.  The noted 19th Century watchmaker opened a manufacturing operation just a few blocks away in a three story brick building in Sag Harbor, an historic village known for its whaling and maritime activities.  The exterior clapboard siding was maintained where possible and matched

precisely with new custom cedar

where necessary.
